Al primo avvio dopo l'installazione è necessario configurare il software 1Click. Questa prima configurazione è completamente guidata e permette all'utente di essere immediatamente operativo e inviare i file nel giro di qualche minuto.

=Impostare il File di Configurazione=

Il primo passaggio del processo permette di impostare il file di configurazione dello Scanner. Il file di Configurazione contiene tutte le informazioni dei componenti dello specifico scanner, quindi è essenziale per il corretto funzionamento dello stesso.

Per impostare il file di configurazione, assicurarsi che lo scanner sia correttamente connesso e acceso, quindi cliccare sul pulsante '''Ottieni da Scanner''' per il caricamento automatico.

Una volta che il file è caricato, compariranno i seguenti dati:
*il n° seriale dello scanner
*i componenti dello scanner

Inoltre, è possibile caricare una configurazione da un file esterno utilizzando il pulsante ''Carica da File'', sebbene questo tipo di operazione è prevista solo in casi eccezionali (per esempio se Open Technologies deve modificare il file di configurazione e il file interno non è più valido).

Cliccare Avanti per proseguire con la configurazione, cliccare Annulla per interrompere.

=Calibrazione del Sistema=

Il passaggio successivo è la Calibrazione del Sistema, che inizia dalla Testa Ottica e passa poi alla calibrazione del sistema di movimentazione.

In this section it is possible to control the software behaviour regarding the Generation of a Pdf file.


;Generate Pdf: Has to be checked it the user wishes to export a Pdf file that sums up the requirements and settings of each scanned and exported project.
;Auto Open Pdf: If checked, opens the exported Pdf for the dentist to check and sign.
;Pdf Save Folder: The user can select a folder in which to save all the generated pdf files.
;Pdf Template: Allows to choose the template for the generated pdf file. The only template available as for now is Open Technologies' default.

In this page will be followed and explained the wizard for scanning 2 individual impression that can or not be from the same patient.

==Project Definition== 


Launch the scanning software double-clicking on the 1Click icon on your desktop. The Welcome Page will open; to create the project click on the first icon.

In this example we are going to scan two individual impressions; here is the definition of our demo project:

Take particular care in choosing the correct Workflow, since it will generate the scanning wizard.

==Step 1: Scan the Lower impression== 


The first step of this project is scanning the lower impression.

Insert the impression in the scanner's holder and click on the first available icon; choose the strategy the item need to be scanned with and wait for the image to be completed.


For more information on the scanning interface visit the page [[Wizard|Wizard]].


If the scanned image presents missing information, it is possible to take one or multiple additional scans to cover the missing areas. To do so, rotate the 3D view of the impression so that the missing information can be easily seen in the monitor and just click on the '''Add Image''' button {{Inline button|AddImage.PNG}}. The scanner will position the impression in the same position of the 3D view and it will take an individual image of that position.

Now that all the missing information has been filled out, continue with the project clicking on the '''Next''' button {{Inline button|Next.PNG}}.

==Step 2: Scan the Upper impression== 


Insert the upper impression in the scanner and proceed as before.

Should be there need to add images, proceed as explained before. Once satisfied with the result, click on the '''End''' button {{Inline button|End.PNG}} to open the Export and Upload dialog.

==Step 3: Export and Upload== 


The dialog for export and upload will open automatically.

Choose the partner you want to send the file to and check the project information then click on the upload button {{Inline button|UploadIcon.PNG}} to Export.


The Dental Uploader will open automatically and, when the file is 100% processed, will show the positive model of the scanned impression. Since two impressions were scanned it will be possible to choose which file to visualize.

==Export==

The first section of the dialog, '''Laboratory''', allows the user to choose to which partner to upload the files to be designed. The available profiles are the ones that were previously set in the Option Panel- Uploads, available for changes for all Open Technologies Resellers.

The second and bigger section shows the initial project definition that, at this point, can be changed.

When the partner has been chosen and the project information confirmed, click on the upload button {{Inline button|UploadIcon.PNG}} to export the files and send them to the dental Uploader.

==Uploader==

The Dental Uploades allows to check the progress of all uploaded data. It is available in the windows application bar and works in background so that the user can continue scanning even if the files of the previous job is still being processed.

The Dental Uploader is divided in two section, the first holds the export information like the destination folder, the file name and the upload status. The second one shows the exported final file, which will be positive and ready to be used in a cad.
